Another month has gone by and before we know it the festive season will be upon us again! October has been pretty busy for me – I recently started my Masters degree and have been inundated with course work, but I am so happy to be studying again after completing my Bachelors degree more than 3 years ago. I have also been juggling some freelance work, along with enjoying the start of autumn with Bella. I am so lucky to be able to go for daily walks in the forest, where I get to enjoy the golden foliage of autumn all around me. Autumn is truly a beautiful season!
With the change in weather my quest for tall boots became a bit urgent, as some of you might know I am curating a capsule shoe collection of not more than 15 pairs of shoes that should cover everything from sandals, pumps, trainers to boots. So for a long time I was contemplating between the Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots and the Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots in black. In the end I chose the Lowland boots as I found those to suit me better. So this October the Lowland boots have been a huge favourite of mine. If you are looking for comfortable, practical yet chic boots for autumn and winter I can highly recommend these.
My favourite bag for October has been my Chanel medium flap (you can find my unboxing video here), I am so happy that I added this bag to my collection earlier this year. The medium flap is such an elegant and classic bag, it is my new favourite size. If anyone would like me to do a review on it just let me know in the comments section below.
My October beauty favourites are quite limited, since I started the Acne.org Regimen in July I have been trying to go makeup free as much as possible. However to deflect attention from the hyper-pigmentation marks on my face I have been accentuating my eye area 😉 My favourite eye makeup in October has been the Le Volume De Chanel mascara, I like that it doesn’t clump up my eyelashes and that it adds volume and defines each lash. I have also been loving my Chanel Stylo Yeux waterproof long-lasting eyeliner, it really enhances and intensifies the shape of my eyes and makes them stand out more.
So that’s pretty much all my favourites for October. I would love to know what has been some of your favourites this month!
