A few weeks back I received a nice little OPI Infinite Shine kit from Coolbrandz to review on the blog and since I’m a big fan of OPI polishes I’m delighted to share this review with you today! OPI Infinite Shine is a little different from their regular polishes, it’s longer wearing (can last up to 10 days) and has a gel like finish to it. Even though it has some qualities of a gel polish it isn’t gel and is applied and removed like you would regular polish.
Application is pretty standard, remove any oils from the nail plate before applying the primer coat (you can use alcohol to clean the nail plate), then apply two thin coats of the colour coat (I chose “Get Ryd-of-thym Blues“) don’t forget to cap the edges if you want the polish to last longer, wait two minutes and then finish of with the OPI Infinite Shine Gloss top coat and you are ready to go!
Application was pretty smooth, dry time was only around 10 minutes and I only needed two thin coats to get full coverage. The polish lasted on my nails for about 5 days, though I must admit I am pretty tough with my hands so to even get 5 days was pretty awesome for me 🙂
Have you tried OPI Infinite Shine before? What are your thoughts on it?
