I have the Christian Louboutin Adox boots for just over a year now so I thought I would share a mini-review of them since there aren’t many online. Before getting the Adox boots, I was looking for a minimalist pair of booties that I could wear in autumn, winter and spring and that was easy to pair with jeans and sometimes dresses or skirts.
I love the sleek and elegant design of the boots, but what I love most about these boots is the 85mm block heel that I find comfortable to walk in. You are not going to walk on rough terrain or snow in them (there are much more appropriate boots for that 😀 ). The Adox boots are more suitable for the city, work – depending on your office environment, running errands or a night out. With regards to sizing, I took my usual size 38. There wasn’t a “breaking in” period, which is excellent if you are thinking of getting them for the festive season and want to wear them immediately.
The boots are on the pricier side; however, they are a timeless wardrobe staple that I will wear for many years to come #costperwear. I have yet to see them go on sale online if I do, I will update this post or mention the sale on my IG highlights.
UPDATE: Yasmine alerted me in the comments section that I did not touch on wear and tear, to be honest, there really wasn’t any. The boots still look great after a year – no scuffing on the toe box area, only some minor creasing on the top/middle shaft area of the boots (totally normal shows after the first use) as you might have noticed in the photos.

Hello,
Thank you for the reviews. I just purchased a 1/2 size up and it fits snug. No pain. I am debating if I should exchange for a size up.. do they stretch a bit?
Thank you!

Hi, I’m interested in getting this bootie. Most of the reviews that I’ve read online say to buy a whole size up but I noticed you bought your usual size. I have a narrow foot and usually wear a size 5 or 5.5. Does the shoe stretch with age and should I get my usual size, which is 5.5 in other boots? Thanks.

Hi! Could you tell me if these would be comfortable enough for all day wear?

If you take the right size and you are comfortable walking in heels then it should be comfortable enough for a long day of use. The longest I’ve used the Adox boots were around 8 hours (most of it sitting down though) and it was fine 🙂

I find these boots beautiful and comfy too. The perfect match! I have a similar pair and the block heel is really the best choice for the office. Thank you for these review

Thank you for always stopping by my blog Francesca! I love block heel shoes, so comfy and still feminine.

I was glad to see you writing about these because, as you said, there isn’t a lot of content and reviews on these beauties, but I have to say I’m a little disappointed as you only covered the back story and mentioned that they are comfortable :/
Could you go into a little more detail on wear and tear? Given the smooth finish I’ve been worried about them losing shape and obviously scuffing up. Has this been the case?

No wear and tear so far, no scuffing and as you can probably see in the photo the boots have not lost their shape just some minor creasing towards the top of the boot shaft.
